Integrated Framework of Supervision and Debriefing Plan for Kadushin Model

What is the Kadushin Model?

• Model developed by Dr. Alfred Kadushin
• Used for the supervision of social work
• Has three elements that is applicable in the case study:

1. Administrative Supervision: tackling the problem by face to face supervision with karen.
2. Educational Supervision: Making Karen understand about the situation and solving the problem.
3. Supportive Supervision: Finding out the reason that leads to the poor attendance of Karen (Tropman, 2022)

• Seek guidance and resources
• Discuss application (O'Donoghue & Engelbrecht, 2021)
• Expressing concerns and challenges
• Collaborating on self-care strategies
• Receiving validation and encouragement

Administration & Mediation

• Understanding organizational policies
• Discussing administrative challenges
• Receiving feedback on administrative tasks
• Developing organizational skills (O’Donoghue et al., 2020)
• Identifying conflicts or challenges
• Seeking guidance and perspective
• Developing communication skills
