Introduction

Leadership is very much well known as one of the primary factors which provide a huge amount of impact on the overall operation of the organisation. As per the clinical case scenario, it has been identified that the nursing educators need to be very much proactive in doing different types of operations for a particular organisation to manage different nursing operations. Being one of the nursing representatives, for managing teams, it is essential to known the best leadership applications for the organisation. Therefore, in this report, identification of the chosen leadership style, critiques of evidence based theory, along with the identification of choosing technology are going to be evaluated. Similarly, explanations of incorporating changes along with discussing the essentiality of empowering members are going to be evaluated.

Identification of the Chosen Leadership Styles and their Characteristics

Choosing the perfect leadership style is very much well known as one of the primary sectors which help the management to manage various activities. Among the major leadership styles, the application of proactive leadership can apply to doing different types of nursing operations to maintain effective and efficient patient care. As analysed by Yang et al. (2020), the application of proactive nursing leaders is already staying ahead of managing the potential challenges by defining different areas of improvement and taking different types of preventive measurement. It may also include different types of evidence based practices by developing the policies and protocols and conducting different types of regular investigation for minimising the patients safety risks.

The application of proactive nursing helps to prioritise the time the responses of the requirement of patients to manage their concerns. It also helps to ensure the attentiveness of nursing staff members to manage the patient request and from Playing address different types of issues and complaints by taking the necessary actions by resolving them. As opined by Kim (2019), these types of factors also include comfort endurance, patient advocating and taking necessary actions for solving them. As per the case scenario, Nikki is now the supervisor for managing the team and to take care about the patients. A total of 5 patients are there under the team of Nikki. So she need to take care about all their issues and medical operations. Due to having Nikki’s experience in the Purple butterfly initiative, she knew the effective and sensitive meteod to use for the patient care. Therefore, delegation is also a crucial factory in the overall nursing operations to optimise over the workflow and ensure there task to be assigned as the most appropriate individuals. The application of proactive nursing can be helpful for assessing all the strength and comprehensive team members by delegating the difference accordingly. This type of factor empowers the overall staff and also ensures the assigned as one of the most appropriate individuals. This not only imports the stuff, it also ensures the proper care to be provided safely and efficiently.

The application of proactive nursing majorly focused on different types of continuous improvement in nursing practices (Abid et al. 2021). As per the case scenario, it is seen that in Bed 1, the patient was looking pale and they were not breathing. All the observation in the monitor were already disconnected. On that time, proper monitoring of the equipments can help the nurse to take proactive measures. It also includes different operations by staying updated with the latest evidence based guidelines and research and encouraging the professional development opportunities for implementing the quality improvement initiatives and nursing staff.

Proactive nursing leaders also understand the overall importance of various collaborations within the healthcare team. Engage with various healthcare professionals, social workers, therapists and physicians to promote coordination of care. It helps to ensure the holistic approach of better health outcomes and patient care to manage different operations.

Critiques of Evidence based Theory with Chosen Leadership Style

Evidence based practice is widely emerald in different types of healthcare factors which include nursing and other health operations. At the time of considering the chosen leadership style of being productive in nursing operation, there are some evidence based theories which can be identified in a particular domain are described below.

Limited focus on the individual patient need

The evidence based practice majorly prioritises general guidelines and population based research to identify different operations over the individual patient requirements. As depicted by Farrell et al. (2020), these types of nursing leaders are very helpful in finding out the most challenging factor to balance the overall standardised evidence with tailoring care to meet all kinds of requirements of each patient in a particular area. Nikki’s observations is also effective for the other team members to take care about the needs of patients. Due to his observation, the team members can work effectively in every 5 bed of the hospital. This type of factors helps to depend on the different importance of considering the question preference along with their values by providing various types of technical decisions.

Resource and time constraints

Proper implementation of the various types of evidence based practice can require significant resources and time which can be a biggest challenge for the proactive nursing leaders in an effective way. As criticised by Emanuel et al. (2020), the leaders can also face different difficulties in appraising and assessing all kinds of relevant research and training the staff members with various new protocols by integrating evidence-based interventions into daily practices. These major issues can also impact the sustainability and feasibility of applying the evidence based theories to be more practical in a particular operation.

Inadequate evidence

Evidence can be inactive or incomplete for different types of clinical case scenarios. Application of proactive nursing leaders can easily encounter different types of situations. As depicted by Madras et al. (2020), limited conflicting evidence and Research are existing which makes it difficult for the researcher to make various types of proactive reasons based on various evidences. Due to having posted oin the remote and rural areas, that much of technologies are not present which created a huge difficulties for the team to do their operations. Therefore, proactive monitoring is effective for them to manage their operations. These types of factors are also helpful for the integration of clinical hypnotization and patient preferences along with the available evidence to provide the best possible care in a particular operation.

Evidence biasness

Biases in different types of evidence can be influenced by different types of conflicts of interest and funding sources. Therefore, proactive nursing leaders must be caused with various types of potential biosis to be present in the proper evidence which rely on reliability and quality of the research. For managing patience it is very much essential to have more practice for getting better results.

Identification of Choosing Technology or Paper-based action

Different choices between the technology based and paper based actions for doing different initiatives are totally depending upon various factors including specific contact initiative goals and resources available at language the references and need of leaders. As per the case, in bed 1, due to the disconnection of all technologies, no vital signs are being displayed. It affected the nurses to take action before the patient’s death. Therefore, evidence of technologies or paper based are necessary. Some major considerations that can be helpful for informing the decision are described below.

Technology based action offers more enhanced accessibility in efficiency compared to paper based approaches which can help to steam line the overall process and automatic back providing different types of real time data accessibility (Sa & Serpa, 2020). If a particular leader in nursing required easy access and pic information, aur battery collaboration with the team members, Technology best solutions is the most appropriate one which can provide proposed support to the management. Implementing the technology based action also requires a good amount of a front investment in software, training and hardware programs. On the other hand, paper based action may require minimal technological resources and less expenses. If budget constraints and limited technological infrastructure exist in the market for the leaders, then paper based evidence is much better.

The third factor is data management and analysis. Currently, most of the clinical organisations are using different types of Advanced technology such as IoT devices and cloud base technologies which help organisations to store the potential data of customers or questions admitted in that healthcare organisation. As analysed by Brunetti et al. (2020), the technological factors offer more operation and provide a huge amount of opportunities that can provide a better result to the management to get a good amount of consumer base. For the data analysis, various types of analytical tools including predictive analysis and others are effective for the leaders of nursing to check different requirements of patience in a particular time. Therefore, it can be depicted that application of technology based operations are more crucial rather than paper based activities in a particular area.

However, by identifying the importance of adaptability and flexibility, paper based actions are very much effective which of all better results to get a proper idea of the patients. As depicted by Shaw et al. (2019), paper based actions can be helpful to system all different processes and provide a proper idea of different resources that manage various activities in the overall operation. It also allows for customisation of physical and handwritten documents. However, as per the importance of sustainability and environmental impact, it is seen that inclusion of Technology based actions can provide proper results to the management to systematically follow their processes in managing their operations (Wessel et al. 2021). Evaluating the case study it can be clearly depicted that the application of various technologies can be helpful for the nursing leader to manage all the activities and to do patient care by easily accessing different data available in the computer or cloud based database.

Therefore, among these two, as per the clinical case scenario, Technology based actions are the primary factors which help organisations to get a good amount of results in a particular area.

Explanation of Incorporating Changes to the multi Disciplinary Team

Incorporating the proper changes in the nursing organisation, it is very much helpful for the organisation to take care about different types of factors. At the time of proposing the changes to the stakeholders and multi disciplinary teams including directors, different steps are going to be followed.

Preparing the proposal is one of the most important factors that help the stakeholders to identify the major objectives, rationale and outcomes of including the changes in the environment of healthcare. Proper identification of potential challenges and development of implementation plans including resource requirements and timelines are also effective for defining different types of results. As depicted by Musuuza et al. (2020), the stakeholders analysis is the second stage of these changing processes which include proper support. Identification of the crucial stakeholders having influence over the proposed changes are going to be identified to consider their level of expertise, authority and influence in the decision making process.

After identifying the major stakeholders, it is very essential for the management to develop proper communication studies for each stakeholder group by considering their communication styles, preferences and priorities. It can be beneficial for managing the purpose of benefits and their expected impact on the proposed changes for each stakeholders group (Pasmpore et al. 2019). Conducting face to face meetings with the major stakeholders like the director, financial manager and others can be helpful to insert these ideas in front of the leaders to take the proper decision making approach in a particular area. After completing the presentation in front of the major stakeholders, addressing different types of consonants of people at engaging the stakeholders in the problem solving and decision making process helps to make the changes in a particular environment. Summarising the key points and taking proper follow up from the director can be helpful for incorporating the changes in the overall environment which provide better results to implement the changes in the environment.

Discussion on the Essentiality of Empowering Members of the Care Team, Health and others

Empowering the members of the healthcare team is one of the most important factors for several reasons. It helps to create and develop a positive work environment by enhancing the job satisfaction and influencing the patient care outcomes which foster a cultural combination and continue the overall improvement process. Important healthcare team members by involving them in the process contribute to enhance the apology jobs in a section in a particular environment. Getting valued during the operation helps contribute a huge amount of support to the job satisfaction and increases the trustedness which makes them to be more engaged and motivated in their roles. Secondly, as analysed by Grass et al. (2020), maintaining collaboration with interdisciplinary communication can be also effective along the health care of personnel to manage their different disciplines in a better way. Individuals are feeling empowered to share their perspective ideas and expertise by collaborating with the major factors. Communication is very much essential for the coordinator patient care by delivering the comprehensive healthcare service and avoiding the errors in a better way.

Similarly, I also get motivated and empowered by Nikky. After getting tough from the supervisor, it provides proper support to the management to get better results. My learning and development as an early nurse leader is one of the most effective strategies that provide proper support to the manager to manage all kinds of operations. From the learning and development, I heard about different types of operations and various leadership styles. Choosing the proactive leadership styles can be effective for me to be more focused on my job roles in the future.
