Many attempts have been made to deal with the disasters of chronic ailments in Australia through prevention. This included a wide range of strategies, committees, policies and programs. There has been a positive reflection from the side of the participants with respect to the National Preventive Health Strategy.
The National Partnership Agreement on Preventive Health (NPAPH) is one such strategy. The primary aim of this program is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the position of NPAPH within the ambit of prevention in Australia. The NPAPH has resulted in positive reforms and has created opportunities for the implementation of the program at a wider level (Wutzke et al., 2018).
The emergence of colonisation and subsequent onset of patriarchy has had an adverse impact on the health and wellbeing of indigenous men and women that continues to exist even in the present day (Fredericks et al., 20170. In the present day scenario, there is a wide range of work that is being carried out for the health of males in Australia, both by the public sector as well as the community level (Durey & Thompson, 2012).
A national party is working for the formulation of the National Framework for Improving the Health and Wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Males in Australia. This party is chaired by Mr. Mick Adams (Wenitong, 2002).
