Practicing/Completing Role Plays Reflection – Assessment Answer

Description

I remember of a role-play that I did when I was a mentor in a school. In the role play, I was practicing a role play where I was playing the role of patient. I assigned roles of nurses, doctors and other healthcare providers to others.

Feelings

While playing the role play, I felt that the student found it much more interesting as compared to any other way of teaching. We started to act like the once whole roles have been assigned to us (Acharya et al., 2018).

Evaluation

 I was patient in the role play and hence I did not have much to do in the role play. But I was observing the students who were playing the act really well. They were communicating and telling each other what to do next. They were also helping each other.

Analysis

Evaluating the act of the student, I analyzed that they are learning more about group work and they are implementing what they learned in the classroom. They were cooperating with each other in order to complete the act. However, some students are there who got confused about their actions.

Conclusion

After completing the role play, I asked each of them that how they felt and whether they liked the role play. Most of them answered that they found it much more interesting and they loved helping each other (Samsibar et al., 2018). The role play helped me to observe the students critically.

Action plan

Considering the mistakes of some of the students, I think they need to practice more role plays and I will surely help them with this.

Personal Feel About Studying and Being Single Parent

Describing

Studying while being a single parent is considered beyond difficult and that is reason people often leave their study after being a single parent. However, men are there who continues to study while being a single parent. Everyone is free to choose their own life.

Feelings

I am not an exception and I am single parent and I am also continuing my study as well. To be very frank, it is not really easy to study while being a single parent. I have to manage each ad everything which includes studying and household chores as well as taking care of my child.

Evaluation

Evaluating my own situation, I think I have made a mistake being a single parent but sometime I also think I should be proud to become a one. This is because everyone does not get this opportunity. Although I face many difficulties and I struggle a lot, I am happy to take care of my child (Daryanani et al., 2016).

Analysis

Analysing my own situation, I can say that I am now able to take care of each and everything well and seeing my child’s face I think I can now conquer every challenges that comes my way.

Conclusion

Assessing the entire thing, I observed that sometimes there are negative impacts of single parent on my academic performance. But I think when I am solely responsible for my current situation; I need to learn to manage my challenges (Meier et al., 2016).

Action Plan

I have observed that having skill of time management is much important for being a single parent and continuing study.
