One of the life transition theories that fit the transgender adolescent stage is the Schlossberg's transition Theory that related the life transition with the events. The study presented by Schmitt & Schiffman (2019) discussed that according to Schlossberg's transition Theory life transition are results of the events or non-events aspect. These aspects lead to the prognosis of the transition approach that includes anticipated and unanticipated that leads to different impact over the individual. The transition processes are improved by incorporation the coping strategies that are affected by the four S’s which are support, strategies, self and situation. These coping strategies help the individual to adjust to the transition that leads to the change in the behaviour, role, learning and perceptions of the individual which lead to adjusting in the changing life pattern. The theory justifies the life transition phase of the transgender adolescent as they face many events or non-event factors which lead to the change in their behaviour and role.
