Introduction This paper includes the system analysis and design used for a particular case involving a restaurant named Caf de Carol. Caf de Carol is a small fast-food restaurant. The Owner of it would like to introduce some radical changes to their restaurant. Caf de Carol has enough facilities and manpower to serve up to 100 meals, including dine-in, takeaway, and home delivery, per hour. There will also be an outline giving on the problems that the restaurant Owner are having and how the Owner of Caf de Carol will try to come up with a better way of running their business. There are also sections in this paper that will talk about Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Analysis, Caf de Carol Projects Properties of information, Usability, Development Methodologies, Professionalism, all of which encompass major consultants tasks.
Properties of Information There are currently 12 general staff, 3 chefs and a manager. The Caf de Carol project was identified when Owner noticed that the two of them couldnt keep up with the inventory, customer orders, and their management reports. The new system that Owner should have for their restaurant is one that will keep accurate information pertaining to inventory, a more efficient way of taking orders for their customers, and one that would help out with management reports.
