Unified modelling language (UML) refers to the standardised modelling language that comprises integrated set of the diagrams that are being developed to furnish assistance to the software developers and system (Rizzo Aquino, Saqui-Sannes and Vingerhoeds, 2020). It specifies, visualise, construct, and document the artefacts for business modelling, software systems and non-software systems. The assignment will provide use case diagrams for the case scenario of application through which consumers can avail services. The report will provide insight into the use case diagram.
The application is created in which consumers will signup into the account and will attain confirmation for the login credentials. These details can be used for login and they will have option for either online or dine in where they can choose delivery of Self-pickup or delivery once it is being confirmed. Based on the requirements of the customer, the services will be delivered to them.
The use case diagram is defined as the way for summarizing the system and users details through the graphic representations of interaction that takes place between different entities within the organization (Reggio et al., 2015). It depicts the events within the system and their flow. Here, it has to be considered that execution of the events is not illustrated through these diagrams (Narawita, 2017). The use case diagrams for the given scenario are presented below:
From above is can be concluded that UML illustrates the working of the system through the usage of the different diagrams. The use case diagram creates understanding on how the information will flow within the system and how interaction occur among different entities.
