Despite that, they continue to feel like they have no place in the new country, particularly considering that they do not speak the native language of the new nation (Marr, 2021). They sense like they are losing a lot in the newly arrived nation compared to what they have received. Meixing lives in a large house in her new land and she named her house "Big Scary" because of its creepy illumination and layout which are like a maze. This book highlights the 15 unique stories of 15 different children and 15 distinct periods of time. The authors defined the various causes individuals go to Australia (Rawlins & Potter , 2018).

The book that has been selected is very much suitable for talking about the issues of social justice because this book highlights common problems that young children who are age between 8-12 years old face nowadays including communication and bullying. This book will help them to acknowledge such challenges effectively and also further give them the ability to overcome these issues effectively and efficiently. This book is appropriate for the selected young audience because they also face issues like making new friends and bullying in their school life. They can easily relate to the character of Meixing as she had also experienced the same social challenges. This will help to make this book interesting for young primary children. This book would be useful for the children to raise awareness regarding the social justice issue with the help of the young character name Meixing. The students have to consider some steps in order to enjoy the book like recognizing the genre, scheduling the time of reading and making notes of the book. To prevent the social justice challenges like bullying in school could be solved by implementing anti-bullying laws in school settings. Moreover, the parents should encourage them to take part in various school activities to improve their social skills.

This book has engaging dialogues, well-developed characters and a theme that is identifiable. This picture book would also be another good and appropriate book for every child as this book would allow them to understand, explain and teach the migrants, refugees and travelers' experiences from the initial of time or history. Children would also acknowledge cultural diversity. This book can be considered in various places including classroom and homes because it explains Australian history from a unique angle, express the migration idea and examines the reasons why individuals have chosen to depart from their native nation and then come to Australia. The problems of refugees and migrants could be resolved by increased support and assistance to prove the root cause.

This picture book highlights the story of an immigrant in which the author shares personal experiences of her coming to Australia along with her family members when she was 12 years old. The author does have the desire to visit Australia as she recently started her grammar school. The best friend of the author name Sally also goes there. Yet, it seems like the author's father has also ready convinced her mother to go to Australia as they are migrants and they have to live their country. This book begins with ascending the gangplank and observing tugboats generate the ship off from the waterfront while family and friends wave farewell to the child. The author and her brother are traveling free from England to Australia as they are not old enough. However, their parents paid £10 each for the journey (Wilkinson & Anelli, 2017). Carole recalls a huge hotel that was floating with films, music and swimming pools as well as other entertainment. Passengers of the ship obtain the power to visit places like Ceylon, Port Said and Naples at pauses throughout the way. Freemantle is the initial destination in Australia for the ten-pound poms. However, Carole and her family are going to Adelaide rather because their relatives live there and they can reside with their relatives until they are permanently settled in. In Australia, life is very different than in England (Wilkinson & Anelli, 2017).
