A hypothesis is a tentative statement that describes a relationship between two or more variables and notations. The hypothesis presents a specific, testable prediction about what a researcher expect in the research to happen. It can be true or false explanation or statement used for defining the results by comparing in between the variables (Sendil et al. 2017). The conscientious, judicious and explicit use of current evidences are used for making decisions about care of a patient or an individual. It deals with the integration of individual clinical expertise practices and knowledge that are best available in the external resources from the systematic studies (Steglitz et al. 2017).
Since nursing is a profession needs to get evolved every time as per the requirements of patients, it is needed that a constant research should be followed. This helps them to advance their field of practice, stay updated and make them able to deliver the quality practice and better patient care. For example implementation of results of clinical practice. Also, research helps nurses to use information more effectively so that they can develop their own conclusions. Example nurses abreast legal requirements and apply best practice in record keeping also (Lobiondo 2017).
Five sources of information that could be used for collection of data while conducting the research are Peer reviewed journal articles, questionnaires and survey reports form the government as well as the private organizations, focused groups studies, published journal papers and ethnography, oral history papers and case studies (Mohajan 2017).
Evidence practice gap is known as the failure of clinicians and professionals to adopt the proven guidelines and practices that will enhance their practice of care and brings more accurate and precise outcomes for the patients. The phase of disparity and inequality between the professional practice and evidence-based guidelines leads to the arise of clinical-practice-gap. Lack of documentation, proper guidance to the novice nurses, lack of awareness about the updated systems and care of plans (Lau et al. 2015).
Since providing up with the quality care to the health-care sectors are important for improving the quality patient outcomes and thus improves the overall performance of organization also. Enrolled nurses generally contribute in improvisation of the clinical reasoning and care by aligning and performing team work. They plan and implement strategic objectives to adhere to the positive outcomes (Nurse leader insider 2017).
Continuous quality movement is philosophy used by the professionals to know their weaknesses and to better their area of practice and so as the organization with perspectives. This involves the transformation of ones proficiency by identifying the opportunities of work progresses. For supporting the CQI initiatives group cultures, team work and participation founds the greatest success (Harvey amp Lynch 2017).
Qualitative reaserch involves the collection and analyzation of non-numerical data and focus their their objectives to be made by taken into consideration of the subjective judgement and unquantifiable information (Silverman 2016). Objectives is to identify all the perspectives of a situation and considering the points of all attributes, behaviour and actions.
Quantitative research objectives are framed by considering the measurable data available only. The objectives of the study is to conduct an off site representation of data totally relies upon numerical data and facts of figures (Kumar 2019).
Deals with development of outcomes understanding complete scenario, situation and underlying reasons, opinions and motivations (Silverman 2016). Depends upon the numerical data and facts figures only.
It provides insights into problem and uses both type of data sources. Deals with unstructured techniques. Only secondary data is utilized.
Develops proper hypotheses and then develop possible solution. Designed to collect the hard facts (Silverman 2016).
Four ways of knowing according to carper are personal (Knowledge of ourselves), empirical (gains from reaserch and objective facts), ethical (developed by moral and ethics) and aesthetic knowing (final way of knowing that overall creates an understanding) (Kumar 2019).
There are mataparadigm in nursing profession that consists of four major concepts as patient, health, nursing practice applied to cure that patient and provisions pf the environment. The very common and most focused is patient and thus nursing professionals are required to pursue their practice as patient centred (Taylor et al., 2015).
Ethical consideration to be taken into consideration while performing research are description of measures to be taken for protecting the participants involved in study and second is to jot down the things of study by every perspective so that an unbiased outcome can be concluded (Kumar 2019).
To choose a representative sample from the target statistical solution is called as statistical sample used to compare the data collected where size of sample collected is too big for a test to include all possible members and observations (Taylor et al., 2015).
.
The methods of analysis of data are content analysis (the most common among the various qualitative methods) and second one is the narrative analysis (this includes the analyzation of )content from various sources as interviews, surveys and is common in primary data collection tools) (Taylor et al., 2015).
For providing the foundation of knowledge of the topic, identifying the previous research if done earlier, getting a more focused outcomes, to identify the additional needs of the research and to find the duplication of research literature review is used (Taylor et al., 2015).
The findings of study are disseminated due to certain set of reasons such as difference in research perspectives that differ due to way of researchers conducting the research, difference in the data collection tools and methods of analyses, and most importantly the difference in samples (Silverman 2016).
Goals of evidence-based practices to be followed by the nursing professionals are to ensure the care provided to patients is safe, effective and efficacious. Second, to develop the nursing professionals with clarity of the issue and problem, values and needs, the patient suffers with and then nurses plan interventions. Third objective is to ensure that the patient centred care should be provided (Kumar 2019).
The research question should have all the mentioned specifications because this being the major part leads the reader and researcher to draft the study and conduct it on right way considering the future perspectives also. This helps the future researcher to have ideas, promote the research and focus upon the main conclusion (Silverman 2016).
Explanatory conducted where an explanation is involved and more concise knowledge is required (Kumar 2019).
Descriptive describes the characteristics of population, sample or study conducted and draws the conclusion on its basis (Silverman 2016).
Predictable involves the prediction of outcomes to be generated while controlled is where the samples involved are control samples and all the characteristics of study are different. Conclusion drawn basically depending upon placebo effects (Kumar 2019).
